I like that dry grass. However, it looks a lot like the PIFF and PIFFPIFF animations. Also, the civilian village is awesome! maybe a bit too much like a shantytown, I'd prefer an abandoned city (maybe even sunken to the sand #Tongue) buildings whit loads of scrap everywhere #Tongue the wall is ok.

thanks people Very Happy !. The dry grass do seem rather a tad too straight.. maybe that's what gives the PIFFPIFF similarity. I'm creating some more props which some of 'em I'll release to those who'll want them.

(Sidenote: Ever since I played Fallout 1, I became enamoured with the post-apocalyptic genre you see. that's why I'm trying to make my mod catch that post-apocalyptic ambiance as best as I can. For those who are skeptical of this post-apoc genre, play Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and watch Kevin Costner's 'The Postman' and Mel Gibson's 'Road Warrior' just to name a few .... I'm waiting for the next installment of the Terminator series too! Very Happy)

Anyway, I'm having some troubles in adding terrain pieces to TS. the problem is this:

I've been trying to add more rocks and stuff to the Overlays but so far succeeded in putting none. I don't know if the Overlays are hardcoded; nothing I do in the art.ini and rules.ini take effect on the list of Overlays (the right menu on the bottom window of FinalSun). I can't seem to put in my SHPs to be used as Overlays. (for more details, I posted this problem in TS editing forum)

Anyway, I temporarily solved this problem by circumventing the issue: i.e., I coded all my rocks and props as non-selectable, invulnerable, and radar-invisible buildings. The only potential downside in this that I can see is that I might reach some sort of 'maximum number of buildings' limit and might cause my TS to crash indefinitely.

can anyone verify this? Is there a building limit like there's a unit limit??? any answers will be much appreciated.. thanks in advance Smile
