Post-Apoc genre inspirations...
I wasn't much of a gamer during elementary... focusing more on socializing and studies. It was in high school I really expanded my love for gaming...
What really delved me into gaming (aside from the C&C series) was Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics with the heavy post-apocalyptic atmosphere rendered by them. I've been a hardcore fan of the post-apoc genre ever since.
I just want to share this incredibly fantastic clip I saw in NewGrounds.. it's called Fallen Angel... to those who haven't seen it or don't know what a post-apoc genre is all about, you can have an idea by watching this clip...
To those who don't know what a post-apoc scenario is, let me explain: basically it is a time after some great worldspread catastrophe that left the population greatly diminished, developments destroyed, and the world ravaged. The world in those times will be much much less crowded. In a post-apoc scenario, pre-war technology is more precious than silver or gold, old countries are not what they used to be, and people fight for survival in a harsh environment. The world in such a state would be wild and fresh (in a way) again and though it is quite tragic, people would have a chance to rebuild society in a different way (in trying to avoid past mistakes or repeating them).
here's what a post apoc terrain would probably look like:

geez, in fallout you at least weren't able to attack loads of enemies without taking some serious damage yourself, and this unarmored lassie here takes absolutely no hits in something resembling a full-scale skirmish ? _________________ Micro TS
Portable, no campaign, movies or music, just the engine and needed resources for skirmish and lan. QUICK_EDIT

maybe she's got 99 AC (armor class ). Yeah, I know what you mean Judeau... it's very hollywood. But I was inspired by that nice piece of work that I felt the desire to transfer my sketches into flash animations myself. you know, gain a new skill (animating) and express creativity in the process.
so.... you might expect some flash movies from me once I get the hang of it

Just imagine finding a modern building instead of a mayan or aztec temple in a lush thick jungle. probably inhabitant by those pesky giant insects and dinosaurs clones. ...maybe a dragon..oh oops. _________________ Delirium..
