Aaargh! don't they still get it? all nations died out in TS. There shouldn't be any former border lines anymore.

However, if I'm correct, in the TS map selection screens, those borders do exist Neutral

what I really enjoy to see is the correct athmosphere, and fictional colonies like Sydney Downtown, and places like Amazon desert #Tongue

Amazon Desert... meh... honestly, even in a tiberium infested world, that wouldn't happen. The correct place to put that desert, but it wouldn't be Amazon, is in the north east of the country, a bit far from the coast.

I always assumed that they were simply remenants of the past kept to differentiate between different zones of activity.

Maybe Amazon would never turn into a desert, but it would be completely infested by Tiberium.

I thought so, the proximity of thousands of trees there must make it heaven for Tiberium to turn them all into vinaferas, and the indiginous lifeforms there into Tiberium crusted monsters.
