TS: Rise of Omnius
This mod starts about 20-25 years after the events of Firestorm.
History:
The Brotherhood started to wander once again in the fate of destiny, after Slavick's assassination. Leaderless, Nod is in disarray fighting with itself in the barren world that was once called Earth, waiting for a new messiah, or to perish in the tiberian desserts of Earth. Their faith on tiberian divination is falling someone, or something must do something about it, or there will be no more Brotherhood between men.
GDI left most parts of the world leaving them to Nod, as the Tacitus, though incredible in power, proved to not be enough to save the planet, not at least with the small resources left. The device, however, was used with a better purpose, the evacuation of most of the planet's population under their influence, to gigantic orbital stations or colonies in the neighbor planets. Starting a new life in space, though watching over their home planet, hoping that one day, humanity could return and live in prosperity like in a time that only "books" have known.
The world was left in a relative calm by many years, until the storm was about to begin, once again...
Technological Descriptions:
The Brotherhood of Nod:
Cyborgs: Banned after the betrayal of Cabal, they are again at the Brotherhood's disposal; but not like they were before, now they are strictly used in wounded troops which their only hope for survival is to become part machine, so they can fight for Unity, Peace and Brotherhood once again. They're no more computer controlled, now the mind is always over the machine.
Tiberium as a healing factor: Developed after several years of study in mutants, Nod has developed pain suppressors based on tiberium, allowing them to make the most horrendous medical procedures on battlefield. How it works, is something that the GDI doesn't know, but is speculated by it's scientists that tiberium could simply destroy user's pain receptors, permanently damaging their brain and sensitive abilities.
Escape to the Underground: In a world too contaminated to live, Nod has constructed completely underground cities, were they believe that they are safe from tiberium harnessing effects.
The Global Defense Initiative:
Spacial Colonies: The last refuge to the civilized world, as GDI calls them, developed to flee from tiberium, and as a platform for global surveillance, and to research for a last hope. These huge stations have the size of an entire city, sometimes even cities, they have artificial gravity generator thanks to the Tacitus, which also allowed to anti-gravitational engines on aircraft.
The Tacitus: This little artifact contained the information for eradicating tiberium, but it didn't contain the information for restoring Earth, which was the most difficult task, too time consuming, and too expensive to be afforded with the small ammount of resources left on the planet. Also tiberium has been growing way faster in the latter years, but it's less concentrated in resources. Finally with the use of the tacitus technology, GDI was able to slowdown the growth of tiberium.
Side Note:
Cyborg:
Their basic definition is a biological being augmented by mechanical components; the definition of biomechanoid/bioroid a robot made with biological parts; the definition of Hybrot a robot made with mechanical and biological parts, being the mechanical component primarily the computer(s) that controls it. So as you see technically TS is wrong; since clearly the cyborgs are computer controlled, being in fact no real cyborgs, instead being Hybrots or something very similar to that.
Features that are going to be implemented:
-4 Sides; sort off lol.gif two branches of GDI and two for the Brotherhood.
-An interesting history that is developed in the campaign; this is a late goal for the mod.
-Voice acting/New voices for existing units.
-New Superweapons.
-Improved AI
-Other features will be added latter.
BTW: The unit list and the storyline, are already sorted. I just didn't want to give away too many things yet.
Well enough of this; here you have some previews, of the work already done so far.

The Whale Dropship is a heavy liftoff aircraft for the GDI; it's the door animation for the new Starport; this unit (smaller) might also become the new carryall for GDI.

Awesome mod, I will definately be looking forward to this!
Although modding it for C&C3 would be much better after seeing your amazing talent in 3d modelling...but heck, TS sure works too. Good luck on your breath-taking mod!
I will definately be watching this unfold... QUICK_EDIT

Thanks for saying that. And don't worry about TW I will mod it, when the SDK is released. Making models for it now, it's not a good idea IMHO, since I don't really now the engine limitations; and also I'll wait to see their textures to make the units fit better with it.
@Red Dragon:
The storyline that team has developed, will surprise you, I'm really sure that no one has made a mod like this, and that some old members have thought of it at least once QUICK_EDIT

The storyline is indeed very original and also the units. Are you guys planning to remake the terrain? That would be awesome, a destroyed planet earth terrain would actually fit.
Also the units of the GDI looks very good. Looks like they're going to use mechs ^^ _________________
