raminator's CnC Banana People Pie Voxel Competition!
Subject description: Banana, people, pie... this guy is lunatic!
raminator's CNC Resources is organizing a new voxel competition for all TS and RA2 fans out there, counting with Revora's and, of course, PPM's support.
After the Freedom Studio's Voxel Competition experience, in this new voxel contest, the voxels will be submitted to the four judges (MadHQ, Gamemate, raminator and Jeeves) anonymously. Voxels will be rated in 5 categories like Detail, Coloration, Competence.. the surprisingly Pie Factor... and the completely obsolette Normals! Come on, folks! Use the pure pwnage Auto Normalizer from Voxel Section Editor III 1.36 to easily score all the normal points that you deserve.
Also, it is sacred that the voxel that you submit (only one entry allowed) is completely new, never showed to public before the judging results be displayed.
Time is running out, you have till april 1st to send it to Xeno or Blaat. This is not a lie! Check raminator's CNC Resources for more information. QUICK_EDIT
just a quick thought: you cannot score the full points for normals if you use just/only autonormals (yes we judges can see if something is autonormalised ) but you get a fair number of points!!! _________________ just a simple logo by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr QUICK_EDIT

Because they're great, but not perfect, and the closer to "perfect," the higher the score. Also, normals can be used to add details, variations in colors, etc, and this cannot be done with auto, yet contributes to the quality and detailling of the voxel. Don't worry, nobodys criticising your autonormals, its just impossible for the to be perfect, especially when you can benifit from manually doing bits "wrong" XD
Its a matter of doing something well or getting something else to do it well for you, just like 3D > VXL vxls are generally only mediocre without touch-ups.
Also, three judges - I'm referee/stand in. So unless someone gets sick you gotta compete against me *cracks knuckles* _________________

i really like your new autonormals...
coz they are really good!
so we want to benefit guys like Mig who do normals by hand and put alot time into it instead of the few second miracle of autonormals _________________ just a simple logo by bricks @ raminator, on Flickr QUICK_EDIT
