My friend found out that you don't need to install Tiberian Sun to play it. He found TibSun.exe(I think thats what it's called) on the disc. He tried launching it and it worked. Hope this helps(hasn't been tested on online games or saved games).

I have using that method for ages. Note you cant save/load game with that method running it of the CD but it works if you copy the whole directory to the Harddrive.

Another drawback is that you cant play online becaus it requires the CD key to be installed and some online stuff.
