I've set the "Always open with" for map files to their respective map-editor programs (RA2>FinalAlrt & TS> FinalSun), I can open them fine by running th program first, then clicking OPEN...
but when I select a map file, it loads up FinalSun/Alert with the following error message (uploaded below)

When I ran finalsun on my win98 it didn't have this problem, could anyone help me to get this working right?

Don't do that! I had this same problem with Final Alert 2 and I don't think it "likes" you to open maps like that.
