LASER problem
I have a problem on a co-op mission i am making. I have tested it a few times online and every time 1 or more players gets an internal error when lasers fire!
I figured there was a problem with the laser weapons for some reason so a remade them from scratch. that appeared to help for a while but then i started getting the same thing when people were scrolling past dizzers while they were dizzing.
somebody must have had / solved this problem before!

Is this present JUST in your map? Or when you and your friend play a stock map like Grand Canyon, too?
It seems like a fault in the co-op map you are making,I too, got into a fight, then my moms got scared, and said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air!" I begged and pleaded with her day after day, but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. She gave me a kiss, She gave me my ticket, I put my walkman on and said "I might as well kick it!" First class, Yo, this is mad, drinkin orange juice out of a champaign glass. Is this what the people of Bel-Air livin like? Hmm...Dis might be alright! But wait, I hear the pricy bourgeous and all that. Is this the kinda place to send THIS cool cat? I dont think so, I'll see when I get there! I hope they prepaired for The Prince of Bel-Air! The plane landed and I came out, I saw this dude who looked like a cop standin' there with my name out! I aint tryin to get arrested yet, I just got here! I sprang with the quickness of lightning and disapeered! I whistled for a cab, when it came near, I saw the liscence plate said 'FRESH' and it had dice in da mirror! If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought "Nah, Forget it, Yo holmes to Bel-Air!" I pulled upto the house at around seven or eight, and yelled to the cabbie "Yo holmes smell you later!" Yes, the problem is only when i play this map online.
When the problem started i had made no changes to any of the weapons on the map.
i have tried 3 things to fix this so far:
1. i remade all the laser weapons from scratch... didnt make any difference.
2. i changed all laser weapons to modded ones like tesla... didnt help any.
3. i changed the primary weapons for dizzers lasers and obel's to minigun and it fixed the problem (but the map sux with nothing but miniguns). Last edited by User68 on Thu Mar 29, 2007 10:39 pm; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
It might just be the fact that yu have to many lasers firing. There is a bug where if you have a certain amount of laser type weapons firing simultaniously the game crashes. Or you could have given the laser a projectile that conflicts with alser ased weapons. Also the type of nit holding the laser can affect stuff too. An example is if you give a short structure a laser weapon and make it able to shoot aircraft by editing the projectile the laser has, it will crash the map. QUICK_EDIT
Quite honestly, the spam Desu delivered came after his message, and there is nothing honestly wrong with it. Test your weapon settings on stock maps before continuing with this.

I cant try the weapon settings on another map because i didnt change any of the weapons!
to many lasers? i have had 50 lasers with obel's behind them on comp stomp maps and that never crashed anything.

If all the players already have the file, I don't think file size is much of an issue..
