Subject description: hva doesnt work?!?!?!
hi, i have a lil¡ problem, maybe someone can help me out
i've tried to make a new unit which looks like the titan but with another barrel, so i tried to add it ingame
i've extracted the mmch.shp and renamed it ttmk2.shp
i've created ttmk2barl.vxl and ttmk2barl.hva
and added them to expand03.mix (ttmk2.shp to ecache03.mix within expand03.mix)
added these codes tu rules.ini (also added it to vehicles list) ;

and if i try to build it ingame , game crashes , anyone knows why??

i think the problem is the turret, which is within the unit's ship (both turret and body are within mmch.shp) and probably it's coded within the .exe
so maybe it has a problem with turret=yes
in which case, maybe cutting the turret from the shp and pasting it in another it could be solved
is this true?? can anyone confirm that??? QUICK_EDIT
for the screenie i just used the old titan and gave it the new barrel
but that wont do, i want the old & the new one , so...

I made a titan mkII that is entirely a shp in media hut. The pic is a JPG so it isn't quite clear, but it is still decent shp. If you just want the turret specifically redone diferrently or anyhing pm me and I'll do it for you. Just copy the rules for the titan and edit it as you please be sure though to do it right. If you have XCC mixer and editor on at the same time the editor does not seem to compact properly. So that could possibly have caused some problems. _________________
@ Robopope99 thx , but i've found another solution - yesterday
so i started to make another voxel, a mech
with similar legs my new barrel and a new turret , but i've encountered yet another problem
the mech is made of several sections (the body) and when i try to make a hva file, only 1 part of the body appears so i can't make an animation , i've attached all the files, so if anyone wants to check out the problem m it would be nice :p
@ Robopope99 actually i don't mind the the turret, al i wanted is to have 2 titans, the original and another one with a different barre - the one in the jpeg - but i can't seem to get it working ingame
just one more thing, absolutely every piece is still unfinished most of them were only made in like 10 sec , but i need to be able to make a hva file first, so i can see it in one piece before i can start working on them so ... if they are crap, it's normal
