Quick friendly fire... err.. I mean... news!
Subject description: covering (30/03/2007)
Hello everyone! I've been busy in these days with a lot of random things and PPM was lacking news, only surviving on the basic C&C 3 patch news. It'll probably stay like this for the next days, since I'm somewhat overloaded. Anyway, don't think that other C&C sites are inactive. I'm taking this time to post some quick notes about the cool things going on on each community site:
-> CnCWorld: They are finally back online, after a double hard disk crash on their server (the main hard drive and the backup one failed at the same time) and, fortunatelly, they've lost no data, as far as I know. The screenshot contest was extended for today. If you are bored, take a cool screenie of the demo, send it to chickendippers, and, who knows, you can get a Kane Edition of the game for free. Good deal, isn't it?
-> Mike from CnCGeneralsWorld has posted the second day of his C&C 3 Summit Impressions. Check it out HERE. Mike was one of the 27 lucky C&C fans who were invited to visit EA LA studios in the beggining of the month.
-> CnC Source is hiring staff. If you wanna participate of a good C&C community site, that's your chance! They are hiring content updaters, modellers and skinners for the network.. and some staff for Tiberian Sun Rising as well. And, as you see, TS Rising site is back online.
-> YR Argentina has one voxel from Daz, an awesome Colonial Battlestar, and also RA2 two loading screens from lefthand.
-> Rock The Battlefield was updated with newer releases of Rock Patch Celebration Edition. The current release is #0050 with more bug fixes and additional command line switches and an updated Offline Rock Patch Help.
-> Raminator's C&C Resources also have the loading screens from lefthand and they have a T-80 from Mig Eater and some other voxels. Also, we'd like to remind that the deadline of the Voxel Competition that they are running ends on april 1st. So, hurry up with your voxels! There is a tip about it on CnC Guild, or more specifically, on Revora Forums.
-> At CnC3.Net, my buddy Hostile has posted his first impressions of C&C3.
And finally, getting a bit out of the affiliate scope, our BfME friends at The3rdAge have completely reformed their site and they already have a lot of tools and tutorials to download. Now, for those wondering why a Battle For Middle Earth related site is interesting for C&C fans... well, many tutorials there are very interesting for C&C 3 and Generals fans.
Anyway, PPM is open to affiliate with any C&C related site. Read this section and if you have an interesting site, contact me for affiliation. QUICK_EDIT
