I remeber testing warhammer40ks Baneblade ingame, it was very large, and high quality.(in ra2)

I this baneblade in ra2 to. It was VERY small. Like grizzly tank. And the I did not like the voxel, sorry.
It was kinda hard to se details.

Look far too rounded. Darken edges and crisp normals and these would be kickass.

Don't change a thing... They're awesome! I'm so going to use these for Aro's rules... Razz

Oh, by the way... Spotlight these things... As soon as the lovely in-game is added anyway...

It's good, but I disagree with the spotlight requests. The camo is too simple. It looks like he only used two colours and the normals aren't good (yea, blame my autonormals Laughing).

but less color makes it look better ingame? (sorry about the bump, but this desrves spotlight!) Just look at it, it has got thye shapes, the originalety, and "simple" normals (makes it look even better in game).

About the autonormals, I don't blame you Banshee, it needs to be used right Rolling Eyes

As in, allow the author to see what they're doing so they can get the shape right before they have to normal, and save some time when doing so.
Less color doesn't make stuff look better ingame, it makes it look flat and dull and undetailled. Too much color would make stuff look messy, but I can't see that happening when you're using 5 colors. I normally use around 30 and don't experience any problems.
If you want a quick fix to make it fantastic, [s]fix[/s]do the normals, darken the edges, and un-monocrome the blobs.

i posted these voxels about a month ago, if i havnt done anything to them by now, what makes you think i will in the near future, they are that way because im too lazy to do anything more for the public, if you dont like them, fine, i dont care, but im not going to fix something that was done a month ago, i have made custom normaled versions for myself and friends of mine who wanted these tanks, i just thought i would be "nice" and give these to you guys as well, they are so "undetailed" so you can do what you want to them, im not going to cater to every one of your request like im working for you, public voxels dont work that way, if you want something done for it, do it yourself, that is what they are here for. im tired of hearing do this, do that. im not looking for spotlighted material, if i was, i wouldnt have made them this undetailed. i was just trying to give something to all of you that was easy for n00bs to edit, but, instead i get n00bs bitching because they are too ztyping lazy to do anything. whatever you want done on these, or any of my voxels, do them yourselves

I think the idea of making the basic models and then giving the users the freedom to do what they wish with the textures or thier own details is a good idea and allows for people to download public voxels, use them in mods, and not have a direct clone of a unit that may be used in another mod.
