Oh and I'm not sure if you've modified those Vault City structures since those pics, but they look far too clean since I've played(don't have my copies anymore Sad)

@ Aro,

No, I haven't had the pleasure of playing that game yet #Tongue. Is it any good?

It is a brilliant game. I asked because a lot of the things I've seen in this forum are very similar to things I've seen in armored core, and I like it all. The large beached carrier thing is a great idea, though very pixelated. If you ever played Amored Core 2 Another Age, you'd see why I asked as some of the ideas here are in the game. I Like the way this is going. Very promising.

@ Aro,

it's a console game, right? I don't have any console game station so I never had the pleasure of playing it. Will check it out if I'll have the chance though Smile

@ Bako,

they're very pristine looking, yes? I made them that way because I want to make VCAR (Vault City Autonomous Republic) a utopian looking society. Smile

Ok, so I tried to improve the Midway carrier. Here's a new pic. this is a test only, so I will improve on it some more. comments welcome Smile

Armored Core 2 and Another age: It's for PS2
Carrier is looking better, yet still pixelated... Better non-the-less.

I was thinking ruined jets too, maybe the exposed airframe of half a raptor buried in the sand?

Ah, much better. That carrier is looking very good now Smile.

Yeah I figured you're going for that utopian feel with them as they looked so clean. And so it should look pristine, after all, anyone would rather live in a utopia than a dump any day XD.

That is...wow. You're a genius! I totally luv it!

I suggest blurring the pixelated parts to somewhat like the end of the carrier's flightdeck... #Tongue

There we go Smile, there's that elevation it needed. Oh and where abouts is this game taking place? Cause maybe a 'Reno - the Biggest Little City' sign could be in order.

Oh and did you see my suggestion in the TO Billboards - public input thread? I said: Enjoy Nuka Cola, warm and flat.

I recommend lessening all those sand creases with the superstructure, it's...err...strange in some way, desu. #Tongue

And yea, could we have some bullet holes on the Tomcat? Then a small-sized hole near the superstructure's front #Tongue

Driving onto it a lot tends to drag many trails of sand and dirt.

Oh and are you gonna make some of those Brohmin, IVI?

I'm planning to animate:

Brahmin, deathclaws, centaurs, Gehenna, geckos, molerats, scorpions (this animal, I don't have any idea how I'll animate yet), and some other grotesque creatures of my own design Wink

but these will come after the infantry is done.

Is IVI's legacy saved? He made lots of stuff that he afaik never released. Considering the age and the quality to this date. Man, the LAV alone made me drool. Dug through all his posts searching for what I could find.

Gifted man was truly gifted.

Ah, good man! Very Happy I didn't think very highly of AC3 though, AC2 and AC2:AA were by far my favourites.

I played AC 2 but not the expansions, though I played it a hell of a lot then went to AC 3, to me it was just more of the same. I have AC 4 though I've never really gotten into it, there are some nice ideas in AC that would translate well into TS the more I think about it #Tongue .

Indeed. TI's interior is inspired by some of the facility missions from AC and it works. Very Happy
