Hello everyone Smile

I'm currently working for some one his mod (actually a balance patch) and I want to reduce the damage done by the radiation, that is emitted by the desolator, to light vehicles; what's the proper manner to do this ? I've been testing and such, but I don't see differences Sad .Plz help our balance patch Very Happy .

If you are talking about the rad cannon, edit its warhead. If you are talking about the rad eruption field, edit both its warhead and [Radiation] RadSiteWarhead.

This is not a research, it's a simple question. Moved.

You want to change the radsite warhead

raderuption controls the radius of the desolator field

I tried it, but that didn't worked Sad. What am I doing wrong ?

Code:
; Used by radiation that sits around on the map.
[RadSite]
Verses=35%,30%,25%,40%,0%,10%,0%,0%,0%,0%,0%
InfDeath=7
Radiation=yes

The old verses: Verses=100%,100%,100%,50%,10%,10%,0%,0%,0%,100%,100%

I tested it offline, first without the changes; I deployed a desolator next to a mirage and counted the seconds before it got killed, which were 4. Then I did the same thing with the changes and again it got killed in 4 seconds.

What am I doing wrong ?

So I didn’t mess up the nuke I did this:

[RadEruptionWeapon]
RadLevel=100

I think it’s tied to NukePayload somehow

I almost think that’s what it was intended to be. Perhaps it was 500 with a weaker nuke and forgot when NukePayload was increased.

Yes, that could be it. I'll test that.
