Is it possible to adjust the build speed of a single building without affecting the other buildings ?
I want to add a few special buildings making them really expensive but not having them take forever to build

Hint: check the GTNK and HTNK in the .ini there is a build speed line there, use that. # <1> 1.00 is slower.

Er...this is HTNK from RA2, not YR. In YR, this line of code exists, however; it does not exist in RA2. Your best bet will be the cost. That's the only way in RA2.

O crap

I am trying to add the oil deric for 25k
but I want to make it instent build if the person has the funds
if I lower the cost things will go a bit nuts people having like 50 of them hehehe

and if I change the over all build speed
then it will change the hole game play to much

guess im out of luck

so then since the normall build speed is .7
then a 25k building set to .112
should build in about the same time as a 4k building

A couple of you have missunderstod the whole thing.

Its called BuildTimeMultiplier= and it does not exist in normal Redalert2. Its only in Yuris Revenge this line was added (ive checked game.exe)

BuildSpeed= changes the speed of all buildings and units and its in the [General] section and is not appliable to invidual units and structures.

So amartin99 dont got yuris revenge I got no solution for it except to make it cheaper or add it to the Defence building tab by changing BuildCat= to Combat so you can build it while you build regular buildings.
