Zoltán Kárpáti, lead programmer from 3D Object Converter tool, has reported at Derelict Studios forum that his program supports the models from Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. Here's his words on it:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I added the .w3dm file format loader module to the 3D Object Converter and I converted some nice .w3dm models into the Wavefront's .obj/mtl format to check out the result (for 3D Studio Max or SoftImage or..).

How to get program updates:
---------------------------------

You can update your installed application (version>=4.0) quickly and easily using the auto-update function (Help/Check for updates.). The auto-update process is initiated and checks for a new version of the application. An Internet connection is required to use this option.

Please check out, set and save the Tools/Options.../General/Internet WEB update parameters !"

However, it's important to warn that 3D Object Converter is not a free program. It's a shareware that can be used for 30 days and then, you need to pay 40 euros or 50 dollars to register it (almost the price of the game), however, it allows you to browse and convert up to 468 different file formats.

If you can't spend 50 dollars on it, there are always free solutions that can also open .w3dm files generated by BinOpener or similar programs.
