Subject description: another defense building
im making an Laser turret without losing the laser) with an sniper (without losing the laser) but i dont now wath this needs to be for it [NALASR]
and an vulcan cannon upgrade with the sonic zap but need to now wat this needs to be [GAVULC] can some1 tell how i can find that by myself so i dont need to ask it any more QUICK_EDIT
If you want to add a secondary weapon, you have to add the line
Secondary=[insert weapon name]
and the same if you want to change the primary weapon, you just modify or add,
Primary=[insert weapon name].
Make sure you don't have duplicates of the same line for a specific entry, like two Primary= for [NALASR] or you'll get conflicts ingame.
I find the best way to learn something, is to go and have a look at existing code which does what you require, and work on modifying that.
For example, if you want two weapons, look at a building/unit which already has two weapons, and see how it is done. _________________ If there is a problem on the forums, PM me. QUICK_EDIT
Download VXLSE3, extract "laser.vxl" from local.mix, edit it (don't forget normals), save, rename, stick it in a expand**.mix (**=any number between 01 + 99), and set the building to use whatever you renamed it to as the turret.
Try looking a little closer to home.
