yes thats right, Tiberian Dawn for RA2/YR. Mr. Graffiti, Ixith, Robopope and I have been working on this project for a good 2 months already, and figured it was about time to show something public about it. so here it is, a lovely render of what you could expect the mod Tiberian Dawn: Counter Strike to look like, enjoy

Hmm.. I knew I should have used pavement.. It's easier, and doesn't take 10 mins to prepare shadow maps #Tongue
Anyways, the only thing I see weird about the grass is that it is too hilly... But I'm too lazy to fix that now.

No, dang! Im sorry - havent seen your avat before offering the cookie xD

Anyways, the grass is NOT too hilly. Infact, it looks corrosive. And thats how it should look like in TS`s world. Whatever, the grass is good, but you can improve it by changing color and having it not that high.

Wow! Those voxels are excellent. especially that sexy MCV!


Mr.Graffti what program did you model/render this in?

but that grass just looks out of place. as nice as it looks..it just doesnt fit.

all the detail is trying to compete with the buildings. maybe lessen the grass to smaller patches and have some nice cracked ground exposed, craters..etc. Wink

awesome stuff. good luck on the mod.

Update: Here are some ingames for you guys





Note: The normals used are TS normals. Normals will be updated once the new voxel section editor is released with RA2 Normals available. Enjoy

Another Note: The Terrain used is from Project Exodus. it is the outdated terrain for the mod, DO NOT comment on the terrain, as we have our own in the works

Edit: I have forgotten to mention (my apologies) that we have a new member. Modder666 is now the coder for TD:CS. we welcome his help and so should you all Smile.

One thing though with the harvester, it might look good if the head is a different color than the body - maybe grey would look better

i was thinking about doing that actually TB. but, none of my other voxels for GDI have that much gray, and it wouldnt look good with the rest of the voxels. i think if i add more remap to the cabin it would make it look better, but i do agree with you. i need to figure something out to make the cabin stand out from the rest of the voxel.

One on the left definitely #Tongue And just a quick note for the previous in-game shot, I think that the Mammoth Tank should be
a little bit shorter and a little bit fatter Smile It would make it look more like the original TD Mammoth Wink

Damn, why haven't I replied in here yet? I mean seriously, I'm part of the team even.

Anyways, I'm loving the way things are looking for this so far and I can't wait to get to use the terrain.
Also I like the left harvy better though it does feel it needs a little more contrast somehow. As for the mammoth I like it how it is now.
