problem with an SHP...

Ok I'm trying to enable a new missile projectile that I have found in tiberiansun.mix. Unfortunalty, the missile I found only points in one direction as it moves, even though smoke comes out the propor end and it moves properly. Here is a scene shot. What do I have to do to fix this?

Change projectile type first.
The ROF seems too big for a missle type weapon.
your shp was drawn the wrong way, maybe.

No.

You need to go to the art.ini, and make a new section to the "projectiles" - section with your missile's name. Follow the directions how to make it show up the way you want.

add this to your art.ini
Code:

[MISSILE]
Trailer=SMOKEY2
Rotates=yes

and you've enabled the unused missile.

thanks lin it worked. The problem was that I had the projectile named [Patriot] instead of missile.

lol, that the old missile... has been in the games since C&C1. Was never used.
