I saw a lot of maps that has buildings in it and some are partially damaged while some are closed to demolished. So in FA2, how do I change the health of a building? My second question is that I looked at some maps and the starting units seems to be all Elites. So how do I control that too?

Doubleclick each unit/building, there's a slider to control health...

The slider to controll health is called "Strength". And about the units with the elite status... You can either make all units you start with at the begining of a skirmish map start off as veterans [Edit > Special Flags > Units Start of as Veterans > Yes] Or, you can double click on a unit, and there is a drop box, i believe it says "Veteran Status - 1" Change it to 2 If you want a single promotion, and change it to 3 if you want an elite.
I highly suggest you read the FinalAlert2 Manual... This'll help you out alot, so you don't have to keep on asking loads of questions on ppm. Just press F1 while FinalAlert2 is activated to view the manual.
