Like I said. It's EA. I've never expected them to have good quality in the concepts. It's when the purpose and final design of the thing comes to light that I'm usually surprised. It looks more like an MSG to me like I said, but at the same time the only reason they'd be there with other front-line forces is if they're APCs. We'll just have to wait. _________________

I cant beleive people are still hoping for Titans back...Not going to happen. That'll make even less sense...Besides, this was just announced. Give it time.
People are still hoping for Titans back, because KW's will cover from the end of TS/FS to just after TW. Hence there is still a chance, as you'd hope, they'd bring in a few units from that era.
And, about the new GDI helicopter. Yeah, the rotors are angled away from each other, and it is because of that, that they do not have to collide. The rotors can spin and not catch each other. I know, because my friend does it with Poi. It looks wrong, but it works.
And I'm not a fan of the Hover Sonic Tank design. Its reminds me of the original Hovercraft.
And with the Nod deployer, I have to agree, it deploys too much for just an APC, and it doesn't look like the TW "Disruption Towers" so I doubt it would be a mobile MSG, despite my previous conceptions. QUICK_EDIT
Yea i understand how the rotors would work now but still it's crapy looking and it's not somthing GDI would use.
Seconded. Also, if you're going for "but but it r realistic!1", I'm sure designing something that... unconventional.. would take more resources than simply continuing to produce standard Orcas. Besides.. I'm not sure how many pilots would feel 100% comfortable with the reliable, fast, efficient Orca being replaced.
... and I'm not even sure it's designed to fit into the same slot as the Orca, it looks sorta like a "Republic Gunship" counterpart, for anyone who's seen Star Wars Ep 2 + 3.
On the APC/MSG/thing... it just looks.. like a big, armored truck.. with big wheels. Not very Noddish.
*sigh*
I hope they give GDI something else for defense, instead of just that... lasery.. thing. _________________
I agree with Styledatol. Its propably a mobile HoN or some kinf od deployable bunker.
A msg is kinda stupid, since Nod has a stealth special power, so it would be useless...
The new orca could be something similiar to the CnCGenerals Commache: low amor, various weapons and no need to reload at airfield... _________________
Yes, but that was back in '98.. Like I said, game quality is going down as graphics quality is going up.
What do you mean, "back in '98"? Valve is still making great games, including HL games...

STEAM, for example. Yes, it's an excellant concept; a manager that auto-updates, downloads maps for games, manages all your games, ect. HOWEVER.. it's ALSO unreliable, goes down all the time, AND.. is required to play anything newer than HL. AKA, if it goes down, OR you don't have an internet connection... you're SoL if you wanna play HL2 or anything Source-based.
I have never found Steam unreliable at all. It has always worked beautifully and flawlessly for me. And it hasn't gone down in all the time I've used it. Plus, the games do work if you lose your internet connection! That's why they have offline mode!

Conclusion: the STEAM ports of Half-Life, Opposing Force, and Blue Shift are buggy. As for Team Fortress: Classic, I'm unsure as the differences between STEAM + WON.
I'll admit I didn't go searching through the games for bugs, but I did play them and didn't see any, or notice anything amiss. What difference does it make that the UI is a different colour?! Also, how the hell could a port to Steam be meant for the Dreamcast? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Valve is a fantastic company that continues to make top-tier games. I find HL2 to be at least as enjoyable as HL, and HL:E1 is really awesome too.
As for the person who said that for a company to be good, they have to have worked on over 3 franchises: First of all, bullshit, quantity != quality, and secondly, Valve has!
Back to C&C3 though, I think KW has great potential, but I agree that some of the stupid stuff will have to be fixed for it to live up to it. _________________
I think Orca's were more or less turned into aerospace fighters in TW, if they add an Apache or something then that's a static anti-infantry platform in the air, but I don't see why they can't just rig up a VTOL platform that does the same thing. If anything it would use more resources. _________________
