Do you believe in ghosts?
Subject description: State your belief! Do you think they exist or don't they?
Don't bugg me about the silly options Anyhow, I've been hearing a lot of local stories about it, one is about a small girl who died of snakepoison somewhere 1700 - 1800. It's true that she died, but about her a ghost is unknown. I passed that area unaware of the rumors about it. There was a sign containing the story and a statue of her. It was kind of creepy when I heard about the rumors...
Another thing is a house from the old part of Moss (my town) A picture is here: http://www.foto-moss.com/galleri/showphoto.php/photo/1189/cat/555/si/Gude/perpage/12 . The house is one of the oldest in Moss from about 1600, it has been a post office, and office several times for different things. These days it's a café, the servants there never want to be alone because they think ghosts are there. Parts are after all from 1600 Now state your belief and discuss! QUICK_EDIT
I really dont believe in ghosts.I neer had.Sure i may had been scarred to shit about zombies when i was young,but not ghosts.Because i knew if i saw a ghost,it would'nt hurt me because (what people say) ghosts are theral spirits,and are not in the full world.

I did enconter a strange event once, I was walking through the forest alone with a friend at night and we heard some weird sounds coming behind us, and I saw (or hallucinated) something moving towards me. He didn't see it though, he was looking the other way. It may be something I hallucinated and the sounds may have been a cat or something. QUICK_EDIT
Hmm Im not so sure, I mean there were times that I knew that this "ghost" I think I saw was not real, and then there are times that are really freaky. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

My belief is that souls are transported instantly to either Heaven or Hell, depending on whether or not the person was saved, so I really don't have the option of believing in ghosts. Actually, zombies are based on factual (and extremely wierd events). I saw an article in my local paper about it and did some research. They aren't the stupid undead people in video games, but it is still quite freaky.
There are dozens of more articles like this all over the Internet. It's a very interesting subject. If I'm going relgious way it'll be explained in my opinion:
1) The person who never left has something inaccomplished and wants to accomplish it.
2) The person goes to heaven for being a good person
3) The person has been a bad person and goes to hell
4) Bad persons never get to hell and starts tearing people apart ( I personally don't believe just in that, it's prolly made up in the show ahaunting to atract viewers) QUICK_EDIT

As if God is on the same scale as the tooth fairy... Oh and by the way... This topic is about ghost's, Not aliens, not the tooth fairy and ESPECIALY not God! OK, we know my opinion on ghosts. BTW, Aro I thought you didn't believe in the Supernatural/Ethereal? Let's get back to the case, yes. There is more between heaven and earth than most people think in my opinion
The documentaries mostly are false I think, the writer is just a good one. But I think a low percent of them are true, but you can't know why. Sleepwalker linked us to some links at tiberiumweb, they are found here:

No offense taken. Believe me, I'm at the point in my life where there is no insult to my person can offend me, and I never saw what you said as insulting, just as a joke. I love jokes, and I joked back.
And even if I saw a ghost-like apparition with my own eyes, I woudn't believe it was a ghost. I'd think it was
A. Most likely some elaborate fake
B. Medium (pardon the word) likely some trick of my mind and/or eyes/ears
