I've edited the rules.ini in that way : when you build a special research center (i cloned civilian hospital), every unit in game have an improved version, which is stronger, faster, better armed, more expansive...
(Only interresting unit have been improved : GDI mech, nod tanks... but not light infantry
That worked fine until i install firestorm.
By searching i guess what happen : there is too much unit buildable in the side bar. The maximum number seems to be 75 units, exceeding this number make the game crash.
Firestorm extension adds new units to the game, that's why it worked before.
In the rules.ini, i've set the tech level to -1 to some unit, so they don't appear in the sidebar, and the game don't crash, but i can still have these unit whit a crate or whatever...
No matter what units i retract, if i don't go over 75 units in the sidebar, no crash.
So this is the question : is this normal (i guess yes), and can we do anything to have more units ?
I got french version of TS with french Firestorm extension (called mission hydre), v2.03 on first computer and 2.0 on over computer (both have the problem)
