New prerelease sidebar

The old one was a joint effort between blodo and I, and frankly, I think it sucks ass.

So I made this one. Dunno if I'll release it. It looks beautiful ingame.

not quite, look at the bottom middel senter, where the sidebar meets the "toolbar" it's somewhat smoother! Other than that, it looks realy nice Cool

I like it, but just looks like a rusty recolour of the other one really. You should do a gold version imo...

So I have a comment on this sidebar. IMO it looks sexy, but there are things to be fixed.

1. The Up Down Arrows => must be like the Tabs yellow and fat Wink

2. Make the Sidebar and extra functions bar blend like they are one (See Mig-Eater's work for D-Day) , because they are not fitting at all.
3. The Power bar should be a bit thicker
3. And the images on the right hand side (next to the cameos, should be way sharper)

You did a good job of recreating it, but I think there's a reason most of the prerelease stuff didn't make it to release.

Yeah, because they completely changed the direction of the game under EA's influence.

Agreed 100%. A lot of the prerelease stuff is fairly fugly. I mean, take the cameos for example. The V2 one isn't too bad, but the pre-re chrono miner, hind and MCVs are puke worthy.

I think it's fairly true to what you're trying to recreate, save for those little arrows. How does it look at a higher resolution though?

It looks marvelous.

The arrows are that way because nothing else I tried seemed to fit.
