Go for Spring, so everyone can play it. It will be a bit harder, but you can even change code later and noone needs to buy a game to run it.
You could also consider GLest, it's not as good as Spring but it's simpler. _________________ Time will tell...

yes, i know that much..
i mean, like... HOW, as in... do you use a drawing pad? que? _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT
Do you intend to convert these sketch into a 3D model and then turn it into a voxel or to make an shp out of it (shp vehicles are fashionable thoses times it seems) or it's jsut a sketc and won't become anything else ?? QUICK_EDIT
Suppose one of the great modders who deal with modding the .exe could add a tag that would make a .shp tilt on a slope. Or a voxel with a "stand up at all times" tag. Or even multiple animinations for a voxel. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

do you realize that with SHP, you'd have to make separate directional SHP for EVERY DIRECTION, and EVERY SLOPE DIRECTION. That's hella lot of work. _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT

It isn't if you use a 3D modeling program (just rotate the cameras), also it would be just one file, a really big file. Anyways the resulting shp will be way bigger, in file size, than a voxel, and it won't rotate smoothly.
Pros of the SHP vehicles:
-Can have complex moving animations; like moving wheels, besides other more notorious legged movements
-They can have a greater amount of detail.
-Complex attack animations, for the turretless SHPs.
Cons of SHP vehicles:
-Turreted SHPs can't have a turret shadow; the tag doesn't work AFAIK, though you can fake the shadow to look fine
-They can't tilt o slopes
-Their rotation isn't smooth (just 8 facings); which looks bad on wheeled/tracked vehicles IMO.
-Can't be used like aircraft; as they can only be voxels.
IMO wheeled/tracked vehicles look better as voxels, it is better used for walking vehicles; but that's just my opinion
@RLY_BiG_Tank:
You would just need to set the cameras at a proper angle, and then render the file, well anyways maybe this tutorial made by LKO can help you QUICK_EDIT
Wow... You need to teach me how to use sketchup. I tried it after seing this, but I can't seem to draw anything, not even with a tablet. And when I finally get the crappy, flat drawing... How will that ever become 3D? :S QUICK_EDIT
Good they are but darknessvolt they are not actual drawings but 3d renders made by a program called "SketchUp". _________________ Delirium.. QUICK_EDIT
Great stuff RLY_BiG_Tank! I just looked through and the one thing that came to mind was the RA1 Intro, that's some seriously heavy stuff there... _________________ Yes, work on MV continues. It is not forgotten. QUICK_EDIT
