i was searching the internet one boring day for Tiberian Dawn photos and stumbled upon this lil number...

Sorry dude, that's no mod. That's way beta CNC1, probably photoshopped as was Westwood's fashion.

Nyerguds could probably tell you more about this one..

Yeah, common consensus is that that's faked by Westwood.
They're pretty well known for editing screenshots to make the game look alot better (there's some giant RA2 picture floating about with loads of fire FX and the like which were added in an image editor).

The picture appears on the back of the Covert Operations disc case.

Fake? No No, Adam Isgreen has confirmed this was the first internal edition of C&C.

It might well have been, but it doesn't mean that infantry could wade ashore from landing craft in it.
