is there a way to change the camera and the game speed in singleplayer?? i didnt find anything related to that in the xml-files that come with the sdk. with the big-editor i am able to extract the gamedata.ini where these settings seem to be, but i´m not able to get my modified ini back in a working mod.

can someone help me with that? Sad

How do you mean camera settings?
As far as I'm aware, most camera settings are done within the map coding itself. Hence why several new multiplayer maps can let you zoom in a lot further than in most official maps.

With regards to game speed, I believe this is directly linked to the frame rate, and this is why the ingame frame rate was limited.
With regard to modifying it, I know its possible, but I don't know how.

yeah, i mean how far i can zoom out

these settings seem to be in the gamedata.ini, but i cant get them back in a mod

these are the settings i wanna change (gamedata.ini):


;These figures are compatible with the new 25-degree projection angle
;MaxCameraHeight = 750.0 ;230.0
;MinCameraHeight = 430.0


and


GameSpeedFactor = 0.75 ; Multiplier for all times in a single player game
MinimalGameSpeedFactor = 0.1 ; Minimal allowed value for game speed factor

Like I say, I find that a lot of those camera settings are also done in maps, so you may find that maps will override the default settings.

However, with regard to ini's, I think they have to be put into the big files a different way to usual xml files. If you go to the built mods folder in the SDK folder, then go to your mod folder, and then go the data folder in that. Look for a folder called "INI", if not make one, and then place your updated gamedata.ini within that folder.

Rebuild your mod the usual way, and you'll hopefully find it within the big file.

Have you opened the file with the big editor, to see if it is actually included in it?

ok, i got a working ini in my mod.
the camerasetting dont work (i know that they were disabled), the gamespeed also didnt work Crying or Very sad

i can only change the camera pitch (which is better than nothing)
