your light source doesn't seem to fit. I think it's too close to the model. That's why it has some kind of spotlight in the front and the back is very dark.
The model itself seem to be ok. As an ActiveAnim you could make some of the red remap parts glow brighter and darker. Their red color is also too plain. Use a red texture instead.
Between 2 of the main 4 columns you could make some kind of lightning anim from one to the other.
Positionlights are also good for anims.

It could be good but:
1. It has the same texture all over.
2. It has a boring design.
3. It's plain.
4. It's a conyard you say?

It's a good looking model but still could use several small details to make it stand out. It's been said before, the light source seems to be too close. For active anims I suggest some moving parts... complicated but that'll do much to make your conyard more interesting.

Hmm, i think the stuff that we said about the Spaceport refers to your conyard as well - remember to use it as reference

yea its just too blocky of a design to be interesting. Look at reference pics of existing temples.

Mayan,Aztec,Cambodian, even maybe castles or cathedrals. or other architecture for inspiration. skyscrapers, apartment buildings...homes. trailer parks..telephone booths..etc

also check out the original starcraft game. it had some simple temple designs. look at other examples that might have temples...oddworld. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom!, AvP the movie..etc

but its best to look at "real" thing. because thats were all fictional temple designs looked for inspiration.
