is there any way to make a weapon spawn cyborgs,
cuz it is possible to spawn visceroids with weapons
but maybe it's hardcoded so weapons can only spawn visceroids

offtopic : why are there only shp building contest and no infantry , like best cyborg competition or something like that

The only way visceroids spawn from weapons is if the weapon involves death by tiberium or death by gas cloud. The visceroid unit is specified for tiberium death, you could only spawn cyborgs if you change the specified visceroid unit to a cyborg unit - then, whenever any kind of infantry dies in tiberium or a gas cloud, a cyborg will spawn instead of a visceroid.

Still, the visceroid is a vehicle, the cyborg is an infantry. And the SmallVisceroid/LargeVisceroid tags only accept a vehicle IIRC...

You might be right. In which case you'd need to make a vehicle which uses the cyborg shp.

j4m3sb0nd and Dutchygamer are right, mabe you could make something like a Cyborg Reaper (it is a vehicle) or use a Cyborg.shp edited so it can be used for vehicles. Ive never tried it but I have seen other mods with infantry converted to vehicles like the ones that has Mechanics becaus infantry cant repair vehicles. Note the GDI Volverine mech is also a Shp file.

Personaly I would move the mod to the Redalert2:YR in "THIS" case becaus of the MakeInfantry code where you can create "infantry from nothing" via Genetic Mutator code Laughing But it would only be in "THIS" special case.

And if anyone wonders why I have not been active lately is becaus im not modding Tiberian Sun at the moment and it only gives me Internal Errors at startup on my new Intel Core2Duo computer Mad

yea. as cool as that would be.. an original infantry.shp contest would suffer a large lack of overall participation.

Due to only a few people that have the tools (3d modeling proggies..etc and skills (principles of animation) to produce quality work in a short amount of time...Neutral...most people usually just copy paste, alter color of existing animations to make a new one..

but hey not that it isn't possible to have one.?
