These days I just feel like I've nothing left
Hoping for answers but not knowing what to expect
While I sit here waiting for the days to pass
I realize that I'm letting my life go past
My leader keeps babbling and mumbling away
As the world watches at the end of the day
Based on his ways they judge you and me
But I"m different in every way you can see

This war is pointless for me to fight
All I want to do is to do what's right
Yet I continue to obey the orders they give me
I just look at her picture in hopes it will lift me
There are days when I just wish I could hold her
But I made a commitment and put that flag on my shoulder.
It stands for everything and everyone I believe in
This lonely man just wants for someone to relieve him,
To take away all the sorrow and all the shame
I just want to rid myself of this remorse, this pain.

I've seen more horror in this war than anybody's seen
Yet at the end of the day I manage to be keen
I keep myself happy by remembering her voice
These days it's not like even had to make a choice
It's not a question of why I must go, but where
I just got that piece of paper telling me to go there
It told me my destiny and decided my fate
I had to go away and I couldn't wait.

When I arrived I found the worst things on Earth
Yet I kept in mind everything at home I had of worth.
She was my everything and kept me going at home
But now I'm abroad and I'm out here all on my own
The days gone by and the moonless nights have shown
That nomatter where i go, that I'm constantly alone.
The world doesn't understand what enters these eyes
Yet at the end of the day I look out to the bloodred skies
Remembering everything I had back homeward bound
And I realize the true things in life I have found.

Tell me the truth, Did you truly love me?
Don't lie, baby, I just wanted to see
If my ambitions were in vain
Because this love is insane
It' has driven me away
Making me leave every day
With me I carry a little red book
You'll not find it even if you look.
I keep it deep inside my heart
It keeps me from falling apart

Mate this is not a diary, These are lyrics. You should make a rock song with these included. I think limpbizkits stile of music will suit it perfectly.
