After opeing my map with notepad i scrolled to the bottom and I have added the code as follows...

after adding burst=6 i thought it would maybe burst all 6 rounds on the one target with one click, but it didn't, Sad so now I am totaly confused. Sad

First delete the beagle entry in you map. Now look for the beagl's weapon's code copy whats in [] and add it to your map then under it put in

this will give you the effect you desire. Also do this for the elite weapon

You might want to also add Arm=# to the projectile used by the weapon if it isnt already there. This changes the amount of time between the shots in the burst. If there is no Arm= then all the shots should launch at once(I tried attaching an Arm= to a burst shot laser on a plane but it straffed before the burst was done so you might or might not want to try this). Also you could copy the hornet(the carrier jet) weapon and up its damage so that it acts as a bomber.

you need to place burst under the weapon, not the plane itself...

I didn't know that the is an elite weapon code for planes? Is there, I know the black eagle primary is sat at 'maverick2', theres also a 'maverick' I'm not sure what shoots it, but i think I know what you mean by the arm=#, because I think he air craft carrier hornet planes arm is set to a certain number because the drop all boms at once, but there is a delay between each bomb release which is like .1 of a second, i just want all the bombs to drop at the exact same time, could someone please post the exact plane and weaopn and elite weapon code on here so i can study it then try it?

You can't drop them all at the EXACT same time because it can only fire 1 'shot' at a time.

i played a game with this in it, the black eagle dopped 10 bombs and they all dropped at the exact same time, where else do you think i got the idea?

Primary=Maverick2

ElitePrimary=Maverick2E

Get the rules.ini file and search it yourself for the sections you need. Find [Maverick2] and [Maverick2E] for the code for the weapons, and copy those to your map.

It is there, that you will want to add Burst=6 to.
And please note where the capital letters go in the tags, ie Burst not burst, ElitePrimary not eliteprimary, as they are case-sensitive.

Dropping them all in one run is different than all at the same time. Also, the speed of the aircraft influences this a lot in some cases.

Arm= really isn't of any use here. It actually doesn't delay shots like it's documented too, but rather delays warhead activation after the last weapon is fired. Good for grenade effects IIRC.

People are telling me to change the burst/arm under the [Maverick2] weapon code, I tried this and it DID NOT work,changing the arm and burst did not work, but i have played a map before online and the black eagles were dropping 20 bombs or so, and each one was released directley over the target at once, so it looked exactly like 20 little lines fell out of the black eagle jet at the exact same time and blew up every target, I do not want 20 bombs i only want 6, I can't seem to find out how, does any advanced modder know what to do? This is definetly possible because I've seen it before and no one knows how to do it,
I think i will leave this topic now as it is, because it's not going anywhere, so ,leave it here to go to the crap forum, but please if anyone knows how to do this please tell me because I really want to know,

You never said before that the code did not work when you put it under Maverick2, only under BEAG, so don't go nuts about that. You've barely given any reply to peoples suggestions, so to say the topic is going no where isn't exactly true unless you choose it to be.

And did you make sure that you had "Burst=6" and not "burst=6" as in your previous code, you didn't have the correct version, as the code is *Case-Sensitive*.

Also, in TS there was an additional code of BurstDelay0=1
BurstDelay1=0.5
BurstDelay2=0.1
etc..
I don't know if this was also present in RA2, but perhaps adding those lines, =0 would help.
