The shape is a bit odd(turret too small, scale wierd but I screwed it up on some of mine that I have sitting on my hard drive that'll be destroyed before they're ever released), and it's friggin huge! It does say SHERMAN in huge letters though, no mistaking that attribute!

I looked over the new sherman-pack, and each of them has some mighty big normals errors. What do you use for normals? I recomend to learn to hand-paint them, or use VSE III (newest version)

Oh and one more thing, if possible, use PNG insted of gif, somewhat better qualety on the images! Big plus for ingame though Very Happy

Overall the voxels don't look too bad, but there are quite a few holes in the voxels (which can be solved by filling them or putting another layer of the same colored voxels behind the original layer), as well as some not so good normals. if you fill in the holes, it will help when it comes to autnormalizing which should improve the normals, along with the new autonormalizer found on the latest versoin of VXLSEIII.

Too much weed, Aro? #Tongue TAKTICs is a Mario mod, this is some realistic mod, most probably WW2 themed.

The voxels are pretty nice for a begginer. Follow the advice given above and they will be really usefull.

Improve it a little and it should become spotlighted. #Tongue

I'd say its got a fair way to go before a spotlight.
The normal issues (and the gaps in the model) really detract from its final appearence, and its something which always drives me insane, especially when its so obvious like it is there.

The model itself, doesn't look too bad. A nice level of detail, and a good shape, although some texture on the almost blank-appearence sides would help improve it noticably.

Also Mig is right about accuracy (he should know) but whether you want to improve those issues is up to you. I wouldn't say they would make much difference with the spotlight.

But yeah, a lot of things to sort out before a spotlight.

Just to elaborate on the accuracy problem, this voxel (& the variants) should be called M4A3. The M4A4 had a longer hull, wasn’t built in 76 & 105 mm versions & I’ve never seen one use a dozer attachment either, there is also no such thing as a M4A2E8.

I know such things probably wont mater to most ppl & you’ll think I’m being too fussy. He could have just called it Sherman tho but instead he attempted to use the full names but didn’t quite get it right >.>

The voxel isn't full of holes, it's filled. The "holes" is purely badass normals. And you CANN'T be useing VSE III 1.38, I tryed, but I was able to get the normals you did. And yes, I tryed a LOT of setting... However, they look like the old AN 3.0 Cube-normals mixed with the god'ol AN 1.1

I stand corrected on the M4A2E8, I found some references to it. It’s more commonly known as M4A2 76(W) HVSS tho.
