The above screenshot is the effect u get of an absolute ton (around 50 or more) units exploding on exactly the same cell
u know the little bright circular effect u get around explosions
well amplify it 50+ times and this is what u get
+a real slooooowdown of the game, its a pointless screenshot in itself and was related to alot of testing i was doing, however i thought it was quite a rare and interesing sight so i decided to screenshot it _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Its normally a side-effect of using the para-transport or similar
never heard/experianced this error. Wasnt how it was done
i used teleport loco, force moved aload of the teleporting hunters onto one cell where they merge in what seems like a single unit (funny if they have different health status's ) looks like 1 unit with green, yellow and red health similtaneously
i then get that merged unit and move it into water and kaboom huge explosion and slowdown
i did just a minuet post all the odd effects the teleporting loco has and described them but a cant be arsed to write it all out again _________________ QUICK_EDIT
This is what happens when you forget to give the hornet bomb an ammo limit and your too close to your target. They might take a while to load. QUICK_EDIT
This reminded me of something. Waypoints have a hidden use in TS, that I'll bet none of you know about. I'll give you a hint... it gives GDI a slight advantage over Nod. _________________ Over and out,

Well I usually wait until they've already cloaked, mainly cause I never reveal their base until after they cloak. _________________

Hellfire, do yourself a favor and scout earlier. 90% of the outcome of the battle is determined in the first 5 minutes, believe it or not. A good start is everything.
Do 2 things as soon as you start. Deploy your MCV, then send 4 infantry units to the 4 corners of the map. To do this quickly and efficiently (since you don't have a radar yet), grab one, hold down the right mouse button, and drag to the upper left. Tell him to move up there, then hit the "H" key. (By the time you do 1 or 2, your power plant should be done building, plop it down and start your refinery or barracks).
Building a Radar early is a good strategy since you can coordinate your movement around the shroud easier. If you can find your enemy's base in the first 5 minutes, chances are you can reveal almost all of it, and that will come in VERY handy later on. _________________ Over and out,

Nice tactics FinalMoon
I use EXACTLY the same ones passed down from when i played RA1 (on the playstation connecting two together, lol how crap that is compared to mplay on the PC)
anyway another nice tactic for revealing map is with GDI (who are easily my favourite side) get Radar as soon as possible like u said, and build around 4 jumjet inf, this is usually (i say usually because they may know ur tactics) before anyone can get AA abilities
you can freely scout the map and all ur enemies bases, u can explore the whole map almost and get to use the waypoint thing (I like to start with 1 unit and MCV) but if ur enemy has MLRS or Reapers etc that they started with the tactic aint as good but still VERY useful, one i always use.
Another is hit and runs on there harvesters if u can, using Recon bikes which are the fasted ground unit in the game (in Retro) that is until u move onto stealth tanks later _________________ QUICK_EDIT
One of my favorite things to do, just to spite my opponent, is, if he blows up my base, or a significant portion of my base, and I know I'm going to die... if I have a harvester I'll fill him with blue tiberium and drop him in the middle of the enemy's base with a carryall. It's so much fun, and a lot of times the enemy doesn't think anything of it and just blows it up like they normally would.
Sort of a trojan horse kind of thing .
But I don't deny that you probably all already know about this. One thing that I doubt many of you know about though, is an excellent Nod vs. Nod strategy. It requires Multi Engineer to be turned off though. Fill a subterranean APC full of engineers, and pop up in the middle of your opponent's base. Don't worry about the MCV, the Refineries, or anything, just go straight for the stealth generator. Make sure, before you do this, that you have enough power for it to function. Then, infiltrate any nearby structures with your newly-stealthed engineers that remain. Capturing a barracks is DEFINITELY a good idea, and capturing an MCV isn't too bad of an idea either. If you want to make it reall effective, send in several more APC's RIGHT after you capture the stealth generator. Some filled with engineers, some with support infantry.
Really you can go miles with this strategy, expanding upon it and expanding upon it... For instance, you could build an EMP cannon, charge up your EMP blast, have another EMP cannon built and ready to be placed, get another superweapon ready, fill up a few subterranean APC's with infantry and engineers, maybe throw in a cyborg commando, and build a few extra power plants.
Go in, capture stealth generator, capture anything else, plop down your EMP tower, emp the whole base, use your light infantry and rocket infantry, to destroy the now-paralyzed base, throw in some superweapons for support if needed, if you can't capture the hand of nod or it gets destroyed, just build another and plop it down up there... you're practicly invincible with your stealth generator. Maybe even fly in some banshee's while all this chaos is going on. _________________ Over and out,

Ive done that before. It is a good idea but I always thought a human oponert would be to smart for that. I always did it agenst AI aponets. Its a good way to praricly steal the base from them nearly intact. QUICK_EDIT
Well, one of the best strategies in TS is just throwing everything you have into ONE chance to destroy the enemy's base. Attack the enemy on every level.
For instance, using air units is a good strategy, but how many people out there go to the trouble to coordinate an attack with air units and ground units at the same time? Who bothers to set up an EMP camp outside the enemy's base and paralyze them first? Who uses infantry in an attempt to destroy the other guy's base? And who really uses those stealth tanks that are so effective and cost-efficient?
There's loads of strategies at your fingertips that are hardly ever used.
Another thing to remember, is make sure that not everything you own is concentrated in one spot. For instance, keeping ALL of your units in your base. Sure, they're great for protection, but you need to not only gain control of as much of the map as possible (like in chess) but also you need to make sure your forces are spread out enough that not everything dies at once, and if the enemy attacks you, you can hit them right back when they least expect it, during the heat of battle. And try to hide some infatry units in scattered locations across the map. If all else fails, use them to find a crate and get you another MCV after your base is destroyed. _________________ Over and out,

Sry... I don't play anyone I haven't met. Don't ask why, I just don't. Nothing personal, I didn't even play with my co-webmaster Froggy back when I used to webmaster TumSun. _________________ Over and out,
