I recently bought this....book..it look like there are more to come and follow as a series...but after i finished of reading the first 40 sites i was shocked how much mistakes this book had......i was really saddenet that someone who probably never played any cnc game has written this book in such a cold and non belonging style to any keystructure of cnc, atleast i was shocked that he has probably only had a few phones with EA about cnc to gather information about it, and a wife or GF wich helped him (that explains a lot.....to me..)
no offense but don't touch that book, it is partly very boring....sad and full of storytechnitial errors .....obivous ones like "the philadelphia was build after the second tiberium war" Sad

neither its entertaining, its more making angry.....atleast Nod are called nods...wich sounds like something ppl have in theyr nose...but if you really feel to read it, go ahead and get someone who have made a horrible mistake and bought that book and ask him if you can read theyr book for free, i bet yo won't get over site 20 before you fall asleep with nightmares....over and out

I've read about it, and I've got to say that it really has nothing exiting and worth reading. I'm sorry but I think you just wasted your money, Blubb.

Btw, it's "page" not site Wink

yeah, truly i wasted money, not much, but too much, sorry for my typo, right, page.

anyways i just felt to speak out a warning, obivous that its made to gather more money as its completely written without substance to the universe at all.

i'm still reading...but its pain in the ass, its about a recuit wich is called ricardo vega in the 22th GDI peacekeeper division wich is under the command of commander mc neill, hah vega told somewhere that he remembered how much pitbull units have evolved from the second to the third tiberium war, in the third they have atleast 4 motors 1 in every tire - well that is information...wich is a bit ridiculous and i don't really need , after all it has a lot unuseful details and the crap filles pages for example, crappy climate aggregates, how hot the summers are, how the girlfriend of another recuit left him alone with the words "you are so noddy" and then he joined of course the gdi *snore*....
but i enjoyed the song from the drill sargeant that he sung along the training exercice, let me write that creative piece of creativeness up - believe me...its too creative to be a spoiler at all...

"we shout out loud
noddies have no soul
TI-Stone is what they want
let the devil catch them!
one-two
three-four"

awesome isn't it?....i feel a bit emberassed the further i get in that book

btw: little spoiler - meobius got killed in the philadelphia while it got blown up , hah - gotcha.

yes he was a very old man in the novel he was a guest on the philadelphia to a big conference were all high ranked GDI were to get a medal for his researches, but all he got was a rocket in the ass xP
oh and
all high ranked ppl of the gdi died also, including a few reporters from W3N

ah and in the book stands that there are a lot of gdi space stations in space actually *rolleyes*

PS: there were no pitbulls in the second tib war XP

The idea behind novels about games is just stupid, really...Like writing a Pokemon novel. Oh well. Moebius earned his IRL BAN HAMMER.

I wonder if the book even fails to mention that epic event, when DvD, blubb and I stand in a desolate tiberium field. Since the novel is so historically correct, I would be surprised if it lacks this important information.

Obviously it must. As that is far more important then the exact second the nuclear missile hit the Philadelphia.

Tend to stay away from game novels #Tongue

Nothing can top Interbellum, part of the massacre of Star Control. They really did massacre it in this book, the guy had no idea on anything. It's a recurring joke on the SC2 forums (hey, if it's set in the period and after the release of the god awful Star Control 3, it's bound to be bad. Heck, Toys for Bob who originally made the series before the license was subject to a hostile takeover said they hated the book and found it a complete joke as well.)

Then of course two X-Com novels which had mixed reviews, most hardcore fans hate it, casual readers like it.
