Constant Crash
Subject description: Game crashing! BLARG!!
Alright, I have an extremely temperamental allied hummer. It's always made the game crash for no apparent reason. I have recently installed Rock Patch. Is there a different approach to modding the game if I use Rock Patch versus not using it? QUICK_EDIT

why would you make the except.txt be the problem? copy and paste all the ini codes having todo with the hummer (specially the first primary, always seems to be the problem) for something is wrong to the actual hummer it sounds like. look for typo's, and incorrect captitals..... and some might not be a code and you need different words (ForbiddenHouses dose not = RestrictedHouses) mind you that was an example, i doubt thats the problem. no! not the voxel! the unit! this happens to me all the time! just give us the ini rules! it could be some typo! as for corrupted voxel.... the most corrupted you could get is a virus or bad color. QUICK_EDIT
Where have you been for the past... how many years?
The EXCEPT.TXT file that is dumped but the game when a Internal Error happened, gives you information about where and sometimes why the game crashed.
So, you see, the EXCEPT.TXT can be very helpful to people who cant trace there error, because it can give a Class from where the Internal Error EIP derived from. QUICK_EDIT

Create a new topic then with your error and upload your except.txt there

But still, IIRC, a corrupted voxel doesn't even let the game play; it gives an IE when loading the map... QUICK_EDIT
Alright, since most of this argument is over the rulesmd.ini, I have actually copied and pasted codes from already in-game vehicles. I literally copied the rules from the Flak Track and put them on the hummer, made prerequisite and owner changes, but still crashes. You know what might help, telling us when exactly it crashes. When you click on the cameo, when it gets created, when it gets destroyed, etc. QUICK_EDIT

It turns out it was a corrupt voxel, but it wasn't corrupted to begin with.... Odd. Anyway, this mod is nearly done. Sounds like you're missing the HVA. I had the same problem and I had left out the HVA. And make sure you have an art entry.
And wardeathfun, please stop giving out bad solutions. His animations are fine; check the Pillbox. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
