This is a Turret part of Stonehenge in Ace Combat 4. the design came out well (in my own opinion) but with major flaws which includes animation errors due to
graphical glitches from HVA file it makes during ingame and turret angle is supposed to be perpendicular to its base (like the grand cannon turret) but its tilted about 110 degrees instead of 90 degrees, making it a bit slanted from the surface which I don't like
and it would help if someone found a solution for me so please.

Well anyway its a turret and it does not come with a SHP (because windows vista sucks (OS SHP III bug)) for its base so I used the grand cannon turret base to mount the turret during testing phases.
I would say this voxel is 90% done (the 10% are the details coming soon).
#Mad

Nevermind about it and I fixed the turret problem and details will be done very soon. Wink

it's too big Confused and the bottom plate creates a perspective error with the ground (i.e., the plate should've clipped through the ground when it's tilted that way.. but it doesn't) . and the black base doesn't suit it well. if you rescale that to a more realistic size then it'll be a good replacement for the sentry gun Smile

Yes its huge but I wanted to make something that will work as defensive superweapon rather than using that fancy looking grandcannon.

Oh and stay tuned for my next voxels p-1112 Aigaion, Su-50 PAK FA, X-02, ATF concept (my avatar), ADF-01 Falken, and XB-0.

Heh no kidding.. this brings me back to those good ol Ace Combat 4 days

I'd picture the turrets a little smaller though in RA2, they really look too big here.

Also, make the base and barrel different voxels. for the turret you have ----tur.vxl and the barrel will be ----barl.vxl. That way you won't have the whole mass moving up and down, but just the barrel.

I'd work some more on the texture, in order to get it more fitting with the rest of the RA2 units and structures.

Otherwise, with some rescaling and a better texture, this could become very nice.

Details didn't came out like I wanted it to be so I stopped from here when I tested it before I continue to waste my time. #Mad

Well if RA2 voxels never have the 255 pixel limit in x,y,z axis
it would've been larger.

not a bad vxl, but i think an SHP with voxel turret might serve this a little better. although, it could turn out really nice if you add a bit more detail like dust and panels - little stuff like that just to make it look a little more real. keep up the good work Very Happy

don't be discouraged, it looks good Very Happy .

Now that I've seen how it's supposed to look like, (i.e. the wallpaper) I can say you did a good job in reconstructing that thing into a voxel. You just used the wrong color (GDI scheme) that's all. It's nothing the change-color option in VXSLE won't fix; I'll be waiting for the new screens! Wink

Finally its done for now and the ingame picture shows results I wanted for the time being. Smile

Anyway, I now allow anyone to modify it to fit their own taste. Just give me credit for my part. Very Happy

Oh and I suggest a BuildLimit=8, that is all.

No, its a voxel and like I posted earlier, theres no SHP because OS SHP III isn't working well in my computer. I might have to get paint shop pro in order for me to complete this voxel/structure.

I actually really like this. The base is a massive put off for me though, just won't work. I think you could probably re edit the design without straying too far from the ace combat concept. Anyway I'm a massive ace combat fan so I look forward to seeing more work. Incidently do you think you could work on the R type planes from AC3? Like the R-102 and R-202 if you know which they are?

I do know what you mean and its called the Delphinus series aircraft from AC 3, it seems like you want a voxel request. To tell you the truth all my work I posted on this site is all my progress done for my personal mod called C&C meets Ace Combat. Anyway the aircraft you want to see will be voxelized
at a later time by me.

I'm not requesting them, as I don't need them but they are interesting and futuristic looking aircraft which could be nice concepts for other peoples mods is all.

I have played AC 4 (owned too) and this voxel is true to the AC4 design, give or take a few meters on the barrel, say, 30-45?

Anyhow, great voxel.
