Subject description: this is pure boredom...
Explanation:
I just feel like talking about the US, it's flaws, it's perfections, and pretty much
This thread is for PRO, CON, or plain "I HATE THE US!"... but you have to have a valid reason WHY. Not just "the govt sux"
What I would like to go here
Trivia facts from anywhere relating to US; for example: what the history of the one dollar bill is, Funny US related stuff and the inevitable political satire and cartoons of the President, Cabinet members, or anyone (maybe alan greenspan!

... well, they're right, but that's not the point. I see the US's flaws too (although alot of the times i overlook them)... We ain't perfect. Hell, sometimes I wish Canada would come invade our ass and show bush up, but that's wishful thinking..

I personally don't have a problem with the US, well other than Bush and that one that asked me if I lived in an igloo the one time I go down to Idaho to visit my American relatives. Bush is America's problem, currency goes down, many lives wasted, etc. Otherwise it's all cool . Living on the border is scary though >.> _________________

I have nothing against U.S.A or it's people in general but anytime I have seen or met American tourists they are unbelievably loud and rather annoying, they're not happy unless their the only ones being heard. i hate the US because it steals cultures and americanises them.
i hate the US because it has the bomb.
i hate the US because 95% of the americans are fat, dumb, patriottic gun-nuts.
i hate the US because it keeps invading countries and forcing democracy/kapitalism up people asses.
but the most i hate the US because all other western countries, and some eastern ones too, just wont stop kissing US ass.
have to admit its good things though:

Thats a gross stereolization, America has the most fat poeple but 95% of them arent fat! Plus last time I looked, even around here in Pennsylvania(a state that has school vacation days for deer season) only one in two houses(50%) have guns. Another thing, the average American has a better education then most countries' averages. Either way, it stopped wars from happening and ended the traditional human wars between countries over disputes and made us more understanding of one another. I'm agreeing with Hyper here. I wholeheartedly believe that, although it IS my home country, that the US's incredible stupidity is actually poisoning the world.

First of all, I hate all the bad things the U.S. did to the world (I already enumerated some in the "Is america looking to expand" thread).
And many americans are arrogant, they meddle in other people's affairs (although sometimes productively), and so many have that "greater-than-thou", "holier-than-thou" attitude. I'm not generalizing ALL american citizens though... I have american friends myself who're not like that.
Also, I thank the U.S. for:
PC games (majority of the good ones come from the U.S.)
Mcdonalds (my metabolism is enough to keep me from bloating)
Music (lots of good music come from american artists)
Basketball (lol)

Our meals are plastic, our decorations are styrofoam, every element of most American lives is skin deep and disposable. Buy buy buy, get tired of it, throw it away. Always always always make sure you have the newest and best thing.
All day, millions sit on their rears watching television, being fed by the media on what to like, how to dress, what to eat - then if they ever get it, it'll already be replaced by something newer. Greed is the grease that keeps the Capitalist machine running nice and smooth, though all we're doing is driving on a treadmill anyways - we get our comfort by jacking up on anti-depressants, smoking, drinking, and overeating.
