I think it looks good. Smile
Then again, it's only my first model.

I call it the Icarus. Four multi-missile pods mounted on top, Two Forward fighter bays, 3 standard sublight engines, 2 lateral thrusters (for precision movement), and 2 High Speed MX1 Engines (for outrunning the enemy)

up next, I'll put some lovely gun turrets on it.

I might get around to texturing it tomorrow. Smile

Well, I...err...Its ok actually, too blocky mabe make it curve in at the bottom a little, and the engines are more like fans, mabe make them bigger and more like real jet engines.

Oh and isnt it stupid to have the fighter bays in the front since thats where it faces during battle.

But then again it might work.

well, for the engines i tried to base it loosely off of the Daedalus's engines..

however, now that I know how to use the Boolean tool, I'll end up redesigning them.

Here's a mesh pic of the engines.

Well, I did a few render shots, and I know it's not spectacular, but it's my first real mesh with lighting and a background.


I still can't get it to apply my texture. It's pissing me off.
