Hero Issue again, read bottom post of mine.
For the new country I'm developing I have a hero, the first unit. I have completely made the unit (Currently using mostly SEAL stuff, will change when I get it to work) and transfered the rulesmd file with him in it, but he won't appear for the Allies, who I set him for. Here's his sheet:

and set TechLevel=1

@Renegangsta: "AllowedToStartInMultiplayer" has nothing to do with this problem, also "Image=Seal" has to work to.
@Jospeh: I believe you forgot to add it to the [Infantry] list. Plz define "won't show up" - is there a cameo? (It will be a Seals cameo) Or does he disappear after building him? _________________ Teammember of the German Gamers Association

He don't have to, adding the Image=SEAL tag will work. And if you make a new art entry, you will have to copy the SEAL.shp and Rename it to JOSEP.shp since the shp file must have the same name as the art entry, or it wont show up, what i think the problem is the [Infantrytypes] list
and adding xx=JOSEP to the list where xx is the number above the last in the list. _________________ R.I.P Xeno.

First you need XCC Mixer. I you have that, you must open the programm, go to "Launch", look down to "String Table Editor", and select the game you want. Now you can edit, add, and delete string files. The string editor itself is quiet easy, so I think you don't need a guide for that QUICK_EDIT
Just open the program the strings file are in the folder where you open the program.
Press file-open RA2_english, or german if you got it.
Then press ctrl + i then a new window open and under string ID write: Name:JOSEP and then you find it in the list. When you find Name:JOSEP in the list press on it and --> is a white window called content write Joseph Leito there.
File-save. Copy the RA_2english file to your RA2 folder. (C:\westwwod\ra2) then change the name on the file to RA2md.csf. (Remove MD if you do not gonna change it to Yuri's Revenges (YR))

Alright, it worked perfectly when I was using the SEAL, but now I switched to the Marine SHP I downloaded here and Joseph won't appear out of the barracks. I train him, and when it completes there's nothing there. I think I misentered the art.ini entry, but the ReadMe didn't say what to do for the entry and I have no idea, it did have the sequence though. Help! QUICK_EDIT
First of all, delete all the new entries you've made soo that your 'Joseph' SHP works again. Secodnly, Upload the codes to the new SHP you're trying to implement in game. QUICK_EDIT
Well for the marine.shp in order to work you need to have the same name on your art entry as your shp file (exept the .shp extension)
So basicly copy the whole [SEAL] entry and paste it as [MARINE] and then change the Image= tag in your [JOSEP] rules entry, and for the squence part, i'm no help, sorry
And remember to add the marine.shp to the expand(md)##.mix _________________ R.I.P Xeno.
