Yep. Beat the first one in 2 hours, the second one in 3 and a half hours. Played the campaigns on Hard, and await my 360 to return so I may beat the second one again on my 360.

I hope I get the chance to play the third one soon, but the games are nothing too major ATM. Frets on Fire is much more challenging.

I tried Six on Guitar Hero 2 on expert once, I failed badly(lasted about 15 seconds).

all the songs from guitar hero 2 are put to SHAME in guitar hero III. and its all by one song. Through the fire and the flames by dragon force. i just finaly beat it for the first time on hard mode.

dragonforce is horrible -_-
thunderhorse from gh2 was way more fun to play
and hanger 18, you can't go wrong with megadeth

Guitar Hero 3 has One by Metallica, and Raining Blood by Slayer, so I'm happy Very Happy

I beat the first 2 guitar heros on expert, but i'm stuck on through the fire and flames, which i'll never beat #Tongue

Hanger 18 is the only song I can't beat on Expert, and if the Hammer-Ons and Pull-Offs worked in GH1, I'd have beaten Bark at the Moon by Ozzy and Cowboys from Hell by Pantera on Expert.

Any opinions on Rock Band? All I hear is "OMG ROCK BAND PWN GH3" but from what I've seen, both games have meager song listings, and the only big push for Rock Band would be either the drums or the albums of music coming out on it.

singing and drums on rock band is AWESOME. my sister has it at her place. its so fun. the band world tour is amazing. for guitars its not that great though.

I rather enjoy the Guitar Heroes. I'm not much good on hard or above but I'd probably need a lot of practice to get anywhere near good. I can't play Hangar 18 or Raining Blood yet on real guitar but at least I have the next best thing until I can!

Got to play the third one yesterday, and it was impressive in the end. At first, the new buttons threw me off, and I wasn't doing as well. By the end of the day, I could pull off all but the Devil Went Down to Georgia, Raining Blood, and Through the Fire and Flames on Hard.

Better than I had anticipated, I am finding myself a copy to borrow for a bit to see if I'll be buying it or not.
