Quick community news.
Subject description: Covering 16/01/2008
Hello everyone! I usually blame my university for the lack of news, but this time, I can't blame it anymore, since I'm on vacations till early march. So, Blame it on Fidel (very nice movie, by the way)! Errr... now in a serious note, I've been programming a lot. Last week I've released OS SHP Builder 3.36. Since then, I've been working on OS BIG Editor, but I'm facing a very annoying bug for almost a week. How do I prevent a TreeView from deleting an element when you are editing its name and you hit delete? If you have an answer for this question, please, post it. I'll really appreciate it.
Regarding the community, there aren't many news to post. Most attentions are shifted to Command & Conquer 3 tournament organized by EA. As a modding site, we don't give much attention to this kind of thing, but if you wanna a better coverage on that, I recommend CnC Saga, from our buddy Tchutch. The site is in french, but the results here is understandable by anyone who can read english text. I've watched most of the replays in this tourney and I think Dackel was really unlucky to challenge the best player right in his first match. Congrats for Shadow Terrain for his victory and the lucky guy of that round is SirLunchALot, who is already qualified for the quarter-finals winning only 2 matches.
Anyway, here comes the community news:
-> VK has released NPatch Autumn's Edition revision #0011, which fixes some issues with Windows 2000.
-> Are You Kane contest winners were announced and I trully agree with Sonic when he says that none of them looks like Kane. They are just there to divert the Brotherhood, while the real Kane lives in death!
-> An old version (1.01) of Tiberium Future: A Dying World has been reviewed by the staff from Command & Conquer: Filefront and received a score of 9.4. Congrats for j4m3sb0nd! Check the review (and their download link) HERE. The patch 1.02 was released in the end of the last year and you can download it HERE. TF:ADW is the third most popular released mod here, according to our poll in the right side of the site.
-> MidiPrefix has released Trade Mod 0.8 for C&C3 Tiberium Wars. This mod allows allies to exchange technology by using a trade center and envoy units. Last edited by Banshee on Fri Jan 18, 2008 4:37 pm; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
