Random IE

I need some help, sometimes I get random IE, and I have no idea how I can track this error down. The IE appears random. Please help pd/VK/TSHyper to track this damn thing down.

Very strange error, either it's not reading the warhead versus thing right or something's wrong with a new warhead code? Are you using the NPatch?

Oh, and if you're here to stay, you might want a real name...

But I got so many warheads it could take days to check them all. Is it not possible to get more specific info?

its more than likely VK or pd will be able to trace it to the problem, they are way more skilled than me.

Missing Projectile, which can also mean missing Weapon.

Hyper, that's not true. Structure offsets in this case were quite obvious, and being proficient in IDA makes this a two-second problem. Wink

The "could also be caused by a missing weapon" appendix is what I usually add to my messages, because a missing weapon will come with a null projectile which sometimes causes the same errors. Very Happy

@TSHyper - I'd explain it, but it's confusing, I confused myself, started reading the .exe in Hex, got lost, etc...

Well, at least I said it had something to do with the weapon... Rolling Eyes

Back on topic, any new buildings you've added weapons to? You might want to try using ";" on the weapon of any new weapon assigned to a building to narrow it down, unless Pd's able to...

I got this IE two times again. I was playing Yuri VS France, so I checked every vehicle,infantry and defences weapon in France and Yuri, gave them a temp Cost of $1. I got all to promoted but there was no IE. Then I played France vs Italy and suddenly got same IE. It was a test map so AI triggers where ignored. Please help find this. Is it sure its a missing projectile? I mean I tested many times again France vs Italy but there was no IE. Only once.

That error was fixed. It was some strange code. I will never code again when I am tired becuse I code f*cktup.
Can I get help again with this expect? Another strange random IE.
