Asuka- made a few new shader which I like to advertise a little bit.
First there is a ObjectsGeneric-Shader with enabled Housecolor, so you can have a non-tinting shader for your models.
Second there are some versions of shader that ca be used for animated textures. One with diffuse and normalmap-slot, one with diff, normal and specular-map slot and the last one with diffuse, normal, spec und housecolor-slot.
As third there is the "Rim"-shader which is a good thing for surreal things.
You can Download the Shaders on www.thundermods.net.
Pack 1 (ObjectsGenericHC, ObjectsUVMove, ObjectsUVMoveNoHC, ObjectsUVMoveNoSpecNoHC)
Pack 2/Rim-Shader

UVMove:

Rim:

Sounds great! I'll try them out.
I've allways wanted a normal mapped shader for the animated textures on my tank tracks Smile

The shaders look very nice ingame, alot better than the old ones I used Smile .
The only problem, however, is that they seem to be quite hard on the preformance (especially the bloomfx shader). I have the feeling that the normal mapped animated shader also drains quite a bit of system resources; can anyone confirm this?

Shortly after I started using these shaders, a problem occured that some times caused some of the ingame menus to become purple. I reinstalled my graphic card drivers, and haven't seen the problem since (but then again, I haven't played my mod much since). This may have nothing to do with the shaders, but if anyone else have encountered this problem, please tell.

Whereabouts do you place the files? just wondering if you could also give a little more info about what they do. Do they do anything with the HDR effects at all? I don't use mods for C&C 3 which is why I'm not sure. Thanks.

if you make a mod and want to use the shaders in your mod, just place the files into the shader/compiled directoy so they will be copied into you mod.big. the shaders are for using on objects. i thing the screenshots tell this already!?
