Hello everybody! The topic is that i want to create a mod for CnC3 and i`m looking for some developers for help.

The main idea of the mod is to reconstruct an atmosphere of Westwood`s CnC2 in CnC3. It doesn`t mean i want to replace all
units from The Tiberium Wars with the appropriate ones from TibSun. There are several goals of the mod below:
- add some alien flora & fauna and also a few ruined buildings from TibSun that we`ll be able to capture and use
in our own needs. (also there might be really damaged old buildings from Tiberian Dawn that we cannot capture (just like
an obelisk in red zones) and vehicle hulks)
- add an ion storm onto some skirmish maps (not such as EA`s ion storm, but a real one, which will take effect on a whole
map and have lightning and raining (lighting will injure infantry and damage vehicles a bit) (i already thought out how
to do this in XML)
- make battles more realistic (for example, vehicle debris can injure infantry, flame tank fire will burn more continiously,
and set fire to nearly situated objects, and so on ...)
- and finally add the Forgotten race that we all love so much =)
(the mutants use old rusty vehicles of GDI and NOD having modified and fixed it. And also they have old buildings which were
reconstructed under certain needs. Besides, the Forgotten have an access to the tiberium technology, but at the primitive
level of usage, such as, for example, growing "Tiberium Fiends" and healing soldiers with tiberium fumes.

I have got a lot of ideas, but i won`t be able to do it only by myself. I will be glad to hear some other interesting ideas.
In my mod i`ll try to lay on graphic performance and originality of the stuff.

I can do 3dsmax modelling, texturing, animating and concept arting =) Also i will be able to study XML coding more profound.
So i need additional modellers and skinners, and may be xml coder(s).

There are no story currently, as i initially planned only to add some things listed above.

Everyone who are interested in this project or just able to help somehow please contact me! =) People, who want to help, but
didn`t play Tiberian Sun are also welcome. I`ve got a lot of concepts and renders.

Later, this mod might be "ported" on CnC3:KW =) It would be wonderful.

Also, you understand that it is non-commercial project, so all job might be done only with your enthusiasm.

There are everythig that is done at this moment below .

I like your idea, and those are very nice models. I would help out with 3D modeling, but right now I'm working on my mod. (for TS)

Do you plan on adding things like the Disruptor? Mammoth MK. II?

Yes, may be, i`ll add Mammonth2 as a special sort of unit that can be accessed through an abandoned Old War Factory on some skirmish maps. I dont think that forgotten could build and then rule such heavy and expensive vehicle to have it in their regular army =)

About two years ago I attempted to create my own mod to Zero Hour as a total conversion to Tiberian Sun. And then i found the Tib Sun Rising project and i lost any wish to continue MY own project. I did several models and there were Disruptor among them. Here it (and also Wolverene and MRLS) is in attachment. Note that it is rather poor poly as it were created for Generals, not CnC3.

So, would you help me? =) Soon i`ll show some of my concepts.

This mod is looking interesting, although is this mod trying to achieve anything storywise? I'm not sure if it's a semi CnC 3 - CnC 2 conversion but either way I can see it has potential so good luck with it Smile.

Well, okay. Joshy, as soon as possible i`ll inform you about what to be required to create =) And then you may pick up smth that you want to create (mesh or texture or whatever else). Don`t worry, I`ll supply you with some concepts. The problem is that we have got another potential team member from Russia (as well as I by the way =) ) and it seems he don`t speak english at all. I already formed mod changelist in Russian and soon I will translate it into English.
By the way, have you got ICQ or may be you are in IRC? Talking realtime would make easier our communications.

Right now I'm at friends house and I'm using his computer to use the internet. I'm afraid that my computer has gotten a virus and something is terribly wrong. Sad
So, I'm not sure I can help for a little while. (At least until I can get this sorted out) I'll let you know when I get this fixed. Wink

No, I have not, because i`ve got a trouble of mesh exporting =( 3dsmax crashes with the following message:

Processing mesh BLAH BLAH
ERROR! Could not run Shader Asset Builder - EXE missing or shader not in "Run/Shader" directory?
(Looking for C:\ShaderAssetBuilder.exe)

But i`m still working on it...

You feelings do tell you a lie. Whenever I start up my computer it starts to load and then I get a blue screen and then it restarts. It does that over and over again and again. Sad

I want to help, but I'm not much of a low poly modeler. When I figure this out I will tell you. Wink

P.S. I also have my mod to work on.
