Shockwave: ModDB's Editor's Choice!
Subject description: Congrats for the Shockwave team!
ModDB.com has finally revealed the Editor's Choice winners from the Mod of the Year 2007. And one of them is Generals: Shockwave mod, the only RTS mod in the list.

There is an old trailer there, quite old with musics used without permission *cough, cough... that's bad* that still says comming soon, but the mod has already been released. You can grab it and check its site HERE.

I really advice all Generals Zero Hour players to use this mod. It's Zero Hour as it should be, and it's great! (yes, I'm a ShockWave fanboy )

I quite like Shockwave, it's a rather fun mod to play. I'm looking forward to the next release almost as much as I am for Contra 006. _________________

Oh, you mean the "lets add 5 more tanks to each side that do the same, which is to mean, blow things up at double rate"?
Frankly, I think making things "fun" and "balanced" by adding uber-units that all have different looks but same affect (though not same special-effects, of course, that belongs to the "look" part)is redundant.
I've played this mod on earlier incarnations, and while it's indeed fun to a certain degree, after a while you realize most of the new units are useless in the sense that you can just use a basic few.
I'm not saying it's bad, if I'd think of it in light of the type of mod it is (see the quote)then it's a great mod indeed. I just don't like this whole "let's add 5 more tanks" deal. QUICK_EDIT

Ok scrap what i said before Generals works now I last played Zero hour a year ago when I was using an Nvidia Gefore 7600 GT. I've since upgraded to a Geforce 8600 GT and now Generals works though, I haven't test Zero Hour yet but it should also work. _________________

Hell yes General Juhziz demo units need to be fricking nerfed. They are so damn annoying!
Tried that the, problem is the in balance is cause by the fact that Juhziz already has two bases, the map full of demo traps and scud storm all ready to go and I start with almost nothing! _________________
