1.st impression is importet: It looks like a ok map, some cool things, and I liked the cities. However, don't use flages to much, a little is nice, to much makes overall apperence of map crappy, same goes for lightpoles. Some more use of sand would be great. Looks very good under ore, at least that's my opinion:P

Oh, and for the love of god, don't tuck 4534 things into a corner (1.st image left) it looks like a mess, think real, ther isn't a plane hidden between trees, with fiertruck! And if you need it so bad, snow theather has a titel called "crashed plane" or something like that Wink

PS: goto options, dissable "auto lat" play around with the effect, good for closed pavement spaces.

Ah,

I need the plane there is have crashed ^.^.

I can't use a snonw one:p.
So it's real, a lot of firetruck and ambulance come to the place then.

Thanks for the PS. I will remove some flag then Smile. But the light poles are real. they are so close.

He didn't define if it's a singleplayer or a multiplayer map, so maybe the plane has it's history... Maybe it is a mission subject to save the survivors?

Generally looks good, but the crash site seems to be a little bit unrealistic...

Is not single player.

Is multi player.

Fixed:

Flags, A cliff error. Fixed a ore place.

Story of the map come later Smile.
Hope there like it more now =).

Some new pictures:

A abandoned city.


A road block by police and excavator, because is a broken tank there.
(The traffic light are there for pass the traffic safe on the other road.)(More info when story come.)


Another city: (The black color is a place I have messed and try different things. hehe just ignore it so far.)


On a old city is was this city on:
The new city: I hope is a bit better.


Removed some flags, added some new terrain and even a tech power plant to the city story.


A random place, with a damaged hotel.



I will change the terrain a bit more, not so flat and even more dark grass and ground one. Maybe a bit more.

+ add more light posts to some cities, add a bit more civilians cars and people.
+ give there the map story, about the tank, the big city in the middle and some others things I do not have showed yet.
+ Fix some small errors on the terrain

- Maybe remove something in the big city and/or others cities.

Cities feel way too crowded and bloated. Use smaller structures to leave some space. like parking lots and things of that nature..it just seems out of place having these very dense urban areas randomly. I know thats probably just TS habits, it doesn't translate that well in RA2.

nice progress usually i get bored of a map i started in the first week and just forget about it and start a new one and i do it again..its a never ending loop! i suggest maybe making so buildings damaged in the abandoned city to give it "the abandoned for awhile" feeling and have you tested the map out yet?
