[YR] Replacing sides

G'day,
I want to replace the sides in YR with different factions, however I want to have a different loading screen/sidebar for each side (unlike how all allied sides have the same sidebar). Basically I want to turn them all into individual sides. What can and cant be done?
I'm just starting to get use to RA2, been modding TS for yrs, so I'm still adjusting to the differences Embarassed

Here is what I'm trying to do:

America - Allies (RA1 era)
Britain - GDI (TD era)
France - GDI (TS era)
Korea - GDI (TT era)

Russia - USSR (RA1 era)
Iraq - Nod (TD era)
Ukrane - Nod (TS era)
Siria - Nod (TT era) (cant remember all the russian sides off by heart #Tongue

)

Yuri - Cabal (TS era)
Yuri subfaction 1 - Cabal (TT era)
Yuri subfaction 2 - Scrin (TT era)

Btw, is it possible to make subfactions of main factions already in the game?

You can replace sides, but all the countries from 1 side share the same sidebar. This can't be changed...

lol Siria? it was Cuba. and CABAL TT? the concept art stuff?

and IIRC loading screens, I think you are pretty limited with that as well.

It sounds like rock patch is a must, which version is recommended?

They can be changed using RP it provides the use of a 3 sidebar EG Yuri.

Wait for RP2 and you can get all of those things working.

But im including RA2 sides (sov,allies,yuri)
And im not including C&C 3 CABAL.
If i have time i will put Civilians & The Forgotten.

Haha this part was hard to me.
U will have to use NPatch AE. It's the most accurate patch for ur needs.
I recommend u to create a whole new side with NPatch for GDI & switch CABAL to the Allied Side (CABAL Colors are Black & Blue or Dark Blue, not purple)

Civilian=Neutral
Mutant=Special

I recommend to you NPatch Special Edition, it's rather stable.

, oh and I forgot to mention I also plan to have forgotten Very Happy

(both TS & TT eras)
I also plan to make FMV's for the TT era and bring them in from the other games (I'm doing a Media course and we will be doing greenscreening etc Cool

)
