1. Download Jonwil's SDK extras. More info about it here
2. Use the w3x decompiler to extract the model of the unit you want to reskin (you find model names under Includes in the .xml file for the unit)
3. Open the .w3x file in word pad - the names of the texture files are under Includes.
4. Use the texture extraction tool to extract the textures from the game.

Alternatively, you could extract the right .bin, .manifest, .imp and .relo files from the .big files, and then use binopener to open them and extract the textures. However, I can't remember where to download binopener, so you'd have to find it yourself.

Note: The textures are in .dds format, so you might need a plugin or converter to open them in whatever program you are using.

Edit: To be more speciffic:
2. It's the "yourmodelnamehere_SKN.w3x" files you want to extract
3. <Includes> makes a reference to the .xml file for the texture, not the texture itself. Example:
Code:
Include type="all" source="art:guharvester.xml"

The name of the texture, however is the same. Here: guharvester

There is also a third way to get the (infantry) textures: Most infantry models in the game were released with all their textures in the second sample art pack released by EA. Download link: http://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/misc/c_c/CnC3ArtPack_2.zip
