Subject description: I mean, uhhhh...whatever you call it...

the ring that indicates permissible building of structures. What the heck is it called? How do I edit it for individual structures? Or maybe just: what the heck is it called will work. I can figure out how to edit the silly thing I guess. It would, however, be appreciated if someone could take me all the way.

People usually call it just build radius, you can modify it by changing the ProjectedBuildabilityInfo of the structure you want to have another build radius.

I was wonderin the same sort of thing is there away I can make it so buidings can go down on top of each other, because I have a lot of troulbe getting nod aa down in mid battle

I was trying to edit this attribute for the GDI, NOD and Alien Costruction Yards. The '360' threw me as I was taking it to mean degrees of the radius=...... thanks for your help...

Of course IT IS posssible - the tiberian craters count as building, yet you can build grow accelerators on them Wink
You need to add/edit the following codes for your building:

BuildPlacementTypeFlag="TIBERIUM_FIELD"
BuildInProximityToSamePlayerStucture="false"
BuildOnRequiredObjectKindOf="TIBERIUM_FIELD HARVESTABLE"
