Subject description: Made, but lost...

I've made some SHPs for some units, I've made the unit in rules.ini, did all the proper stuff in art.ini, and yet they are invisible mid-game. I put them in the installation folder, but it still doesn't work. Do I have to add them to a .mix file as well? Is there something else i have to do? This is my first time doing SHPs, so it would be helpful.

correct. SHPs must be in an ecacheXX.mix file, where XX is a number between 02 and 99. (01 is used by firestorm)

just make sure that all art.ini keys are correct and that the name in art.ini and rules.ini is the same as the SHPs filename. e.g. filename warmech.shp, art.ini and rules.ini [WARMECH]

Remember to add WARMECH as a Rules.ini entry (not just as coding - but in vehicle/infantry list as well).
