Personally, I think the Dorky Gordon wallpaper at the end is the best. I have a total of almost 100 wallpapers in my rotation right now, those are some of my favourites.

desktop in my opinion is something that just slows down the comp... and my machine is not that fast to have a cool desktop and cool programs, so, I prefer to say "ztype you" to my desktop and enjoy a faster game... _________________

I really don't get why everyone needs icons all over there desktops, that's what the Start Menu and Quicklaunch are for!! But anyways here's mine (and no its NOT porn its tasteful )
its what my parents use and therefore its free for me so that's why i use it. Its not too bad, it handled War 3 against Tapek and it didn't lag that much QUICK_EDIT
Also, the icons are for conveinence. If I had WinXP, I'd prolly download ObjectDesktop, make one of those desktops I showed above, and I'd have a kickass looking desktop with no need for Icons (Or a start menu, or a quicklaunch bar, or a system tray to clutter everything up). Unfortunately, ObjectDesktop doesn't like good ol' Win9x much, and fucks my computer over QUICK_EDIT
Agreed. DesktopX does have a couple problems with customizability. It's definately not easy to use, which is kinda strange, since it was designed for WinXP, which was created for the sole purpose of user friendliness. However, once you master the ObjectDesktop system, you could make something really kickass. There's an omega-crappy Uplink OS one that's still pretty cool. QUICK_EDIT
Thaaaat's what I was thinking of. I mix the two up because they're on one after the other the few times I see them. They throw changeups, too. Sometimes Dark angel is on at 8 and Alias at 9, and sometimes it's Alias at 8 and DA at 9. QUICK_EDIT
Well, DesktopX is definately THE best thing for your desktop, but I had to uninstall it after formatting my computer because it screwed with my system files (The reason I formatted) _________________ QUICK_EDIT
